Hi, I’m Kate — welcome to K8FIT Yoga + Fitness. My yoga journey began more than 25 years ago when I was simply looking for another great workout. What I found instead was a life-changing practice that became my passion. Yoga opened the door to deeper self-discovery and has transformed my body, mind, and spirit. I created K8FIT because I truly believe this practice can have the same powerful impact on your life, too.
Now, don’t get me wrong – I still love to sweat. My classes are dynamic, challenging, fun, and highly motivating (with killer playlists!). But yoga and movement go beyond fitness. They help you get out of your head and into your body, connecting you to your breath and the present moment. As you learn to breathe through your practice, you’re also learning how to move through life with more strength, awareness, and ease.
Nothing lights me up more than watching students step into their fullest potential and leave class shining — no matter where they are on their yoga or fitness journey.
Yoga has taught me that there is no finish line, only a beautiful, ongoing path of growth. I believe we already have everything we need to be magnificent; it’s simply a matter of peeling back the layers and becoming who we already are. When we tap into our potential, we don’t just elevate ourselves — we uplift everyone around us.
